JEE Main Exam Analysis: August 31 Shift-1:
The students who appeared for the JEE Main 2021 August 31 exam described the paper as easy as compared to the previous shifts of the session.
Maths- The section was lengthy and was moderate. Some of the topics asked were Algebra, probability, curves, differential calculus, conics, etc.
Physics- Similar to the previous sessions, the section was moderate in difficulty level. The section was quite balanced and questions were asked from almost all the topics. Some of the topics asked were diode, transistor, semiconductors, logic gate, electrostatics, etc.
Chemistry- The section was easy to moderate. The section had equal weightage from organic and inorganic chemistry. The questions were asked from Chemistry in Everyday life, Biomolecules, polymers, and others.
Earlier, NTA conducted JEE Main 4 session exam on August 26 and 27. JEE Main exam analysis for all the exam days has been released. The difficulty level of all JEE Main exam days in the 3rd session has been similar.

The shift 1 exam concluded at 12:00 PM. Here are some of the major highlights of JEE Main 31st August 2021 analysis -
- Based on the first reaction of students, the overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate to easy
- Chemistry was moderate and NCERT-based
- Organic and Inorganic Chemistry had decent weightage. There were questions from Chemistry in Everyday Life, Environmental Chemistry, Biomolecules
- Mathematics was moderate to easy. There were questions from Integration, Differential Calculus, Conics, Statistics, Mathematical Reasoning
- Physics was moderate, and there were questions from Modern Physics, Semi-Conductors, Magnetism

Here are the major highlights of JEE Main 31st August 2021 Shift 1 analysis by Aakash Institute -
- The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate with good syllabus coverage
- Mathematics was moderate but some questions were lengthy
- Mathematics had almost 7-8 questions from Calculus, 5 from Algebra, 3 to 4 from Vector & 3D, 4 from Coordinate Geometry
